The eagerly awaited 4th edition of Office Skills: A Practical Approach has been thoroughly revised and updated to address a majority of the common and specialist administration units in the Business Services (BSB01) Training Package. This comprehensive text has been completely re-structured to align with competencies. Both teachers and students may be confident that the requirements of the training package will be met when they use this text as a resource.

Written with the student in mind, this book has a practical focus with a fictional case study, Business Stationery Supplies Pty Ltd, and many examples provided throughout. Additionally, numerous case studies, tasks and activities are provided both in the textbook and the workbook. These resources allow students to apply their knowledge and practice their skills as they work through the topic areas.

Margaret Horsfall has had extensive teaching and industry experience. She taught at Holmesglen TAFE in Victoria for 5 years and prior to that got her business degree in Office Administration at Monash University, Melbourne. Margaret also worked for National Mutual Insurance for six years as Administrative Co-ordinator. She has also held teaching positions in High Schools, teaching the office skills program. Margaret has now retired and moved to Tasmania.
