This book is an illustrated and comprehensive compilation by experts in the field of fertility enhancing endoscopic surgery and assisted reproduction. This book catalogues full spectrum of diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy in the infertile population. The authors describe different techniques in various clinical conditions and review the recent evidence based literature supporting them. Dr. Shikha Jain is the Director & Principal Consultant in Reproductive Medicine at Dreamz IVF, New Delhi. She obtained her MBBS at the prestigious Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra, and her MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. She then completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at the renowned Centre for Human Reproduction at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She was top at all India level in the fellowship exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations, India. She was the proud recipient of Dr. P.N. Wahi Gold Medal in 2002, and received first prize in the All India Quiz competition on infertility conducted by the Indian College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2011. She also won the Best FNB student prize and the award for the best clinical paper presentation in 2013.

Dr. Shikha Jain is very active in clinical research. She has published a number of research papers in peer- reviewed journals and given clinical presentations on various aspects of infertility. She is a member of the teaching faculty for the advanced ART training program and a peer reviewer on the board of the International Journal of Fertility and Sterility.

She is currently chair of IUI committee of the Delhi chapter of the Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) and member of Indian Fertility Society (IFS) special interest group on Reproductive Endocrinology. She is also a member of the Association of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Delhi (AOGD) Infertility committee and The Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI).

Her areas of expertise include reproductive medicine, fertility-enhancing gynaecological endoscopic surgeries and IVF. Her current interests focus on clinical trials to improve IVF outcome & fertility-preserving interventions in patients with cancer.

Dr. Dattaprasad Inamdar is currently working as an assistant professor in the Fertility Unit of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Bharati Hospital, BVUMC, Pune. He pursued his postdoctoral fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He has a keen interest in research and recent advances in the field of infertility. His areas of expertise are assisted reproduction & fertility-enhancing gynaecological endoscopic surgeries.
