Pathographies of Modernity with Aby Warburg and Beyond

Daniela Padularosa is Assistant Professor of German Literature at "Sapienza" University of Rome, Italy. She completed her doctorate "Gründungsmythen Europas in Literatur, Musik und Kunst" at the Graduiertenkolleg Bonn, Paris Sorbonne, Florence in 2013. Her fields of interest focus on 20th century German literature and culture—in particular on Dada and the historical avant-gardes, Bertolt Brecht, women's literature in the GDR—but also on Goethe and the Classical-Romantic era. Her research currently focuses on the relationship between literature and visual arts, with a particular focus on the figure of Aby Warburg.Her publications include Denken im Gegensatz: Hugo Ball.
