Filologické štúdie 6 / Studia Philologica 6 is the title of a collection of papers
published under the imprint of the Faculty of Education of Comenius
University in Bratislava from the series Acta Facultatis Paedagogicae
Universitatis Comenianae Bratislavensis and its sub-series Acta Doctorandorum
Facultatis Paedagogicae Universitatis Comenianae Bratislavensis dedicated to
publishing research conducted by PhD. students.
It comprises scholarly papers written in Slovak, German, English and Czech
in the field of philology, with a focus on foreign languages, literature and
culture, and Slovak language and literature.
The section on linguistics contains contributions analysing English political
speech and German dialects spoken in central Slovakia. The section on
language teaching methodology offers papers on the use of visual media in
the classroom, an analysis of morpho-syntactic errors, lexis and burnout
