Helping writers to create fiction and memoirs of a publishable standard, this book shows step-by-step how to apply the techniques of Freefall Writing to the writing process. Looking specifically at how creative writing differs between genres, this book also shows how to write with emotion and purpose.
Barbara Turner-Vesselago's first book, Writing Without a Parachute, showed writers how to fall in love with writing. This new book builds on this experience and encourages writers to pursue their work with intention and without inhibition.

Freefall into Fiction: Finding Form is designed to help writers, step-by-step, to create publishable short stories, novels and memoirs by finding their own unique balance between the exploration offered by Freefall Writing and the requirements of each particular genre. This book penetrates deep inside the writing process where that balancing act takes place.

Barbara Turner-Vesselago has published two non-fiction books in Canada, Skelton at Sixty and Freefall. Her novel manuscript, No News But Kindness, was a finalist for the Chapters/Robertson Davies Book Prize (Canada), and winner of the Short Story Radio First Chapter Competition (UK). She has a doctorate from the University of Cambridge and has taught at universities in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Nigeria. She now lives in Hamilton, Ontario with her husband, Michael Vesselago, and teaches Freefall Writing Workshops worldwide. www.freefallwriting.com
