Marc Hoppe arbeitete als SAP-Entwickler in den Bereichen Logistik und Produktionsplanung und später als Logistikberater in nationalen und internationalen SAP R/3-Projekten. Seit 1998 ist Marc Hoppe bei der SAP Deutschland AG & Co. KG beschäftigt. Zu seinen Aufgaben zählen die betriebswirtschaftliche und die systemseitige Einführung und Optimierung von Supply-Chain-Management-Prozessen sowie das Reengineering kompletter Supply-Chain-Prozesse. Seit 2001 ist Marc Hoppe Beratungsleiter für Supply Chain Management, seit 2003 zudem Leiter der Einheit Supplier Relationship Management. Er berät sowohl große Unternehmen wie Siemens, Unilever, Gillette, Philips, die Deutsche Telekom und Philip Morris als auch mittelständische Unternehmen wie G+H Isover oder Fertiva und hat zahlreiche Fachpublikationen zum Thema Bestandsoptimierung veröffentlicht.
