This book supersedes and expands upon the volume previously entitled "Basic Fabrication and Welding Engineering". It aims to provide a comprehensive reference as well as a text book on the subject. Updated and revised it contains many additional topics including elementary metallurgy. Each topic is presented logically and with continuity and cross references are indicated. All topics are aproached from the basic first principles with very little previous knowlege assumed. There are many worked examples to support the text, with solutions provided. The text is aimed at those in further and higher education.
