Justification of Long-Term Economic Policy of Renewable Energy Sources (eBook)

Recommendations for the establishment of unified principles for the efficiency estimation of renewable energy sources (RES) technologies and long-term incentive system are presented. The first focus is on a developed method for the evaluation of RES use impact on macroeconomic indicators. Analysis of RES was done according to natural RES, such as wind and solar energy. Inexhaustibility of such resources is one of the main accents of sustainable development of energy, ensuring a reliable supply of energy resources for future generations. This type of energy is not produced, it is perpetuated; thus, the extent of the use of one period does not affect the extent of the use of the next period, which affects the expectations of investors and consumers. The second focus is on the motivation of RES technologies demands. Review of support schemes and measures of RES technologies financing, lending, pricing, etc. used in foreign countries is presented. In the long-term, the main emphasis should be given to the improvement of educational systems and scientific research concerning scientific and technical progress, as well as the formation of various measures and assumptions that affect the country's international competitiveness. There is a very important issue of balancing various forms of RES. The main approach is organized by the integration of various RES technologies within the programs of a city's energy systems.
