His translation works are Sources of the Self, History and Tropology, etc.. Weiwen Zhang, born in 1969, Ph.D. in history and Post Doctorate in philosophy. He is a professor of the School of Philosophy, Research Center for Value and Culture, Beijing Normal University, and the director of Institute of Chinese Philosophy and Culture.
