Religion im Wandel
Der Band widmet sich aus der Sicht ausgewählter Disziplinen (Religionswissenschaft, Soziologie, Politikwissenschaft, Theologie, katholische und islamische Religionspädagogik usw.) und Vertretern sowie ExpertInnen der monotheistischen Religionen (Christentum, Islam, Judentum) einem Phänomen, das die Gesellschaften Europas nachhaltig verändert: der internationalen Migration und deren Auswirkungen auf sozioreligiöse Transformationsprozesse in religiösen Gemeinschaften. Theoretische Zugänge und praktisch-empirische Berichte bieten einen repräsentativen Einblick in die aktuelle Forschung.
Dr. Ednan Aslan ist Professor für islamische Religionspädagogik am Institut für Islamisch-Theologische Studien an der Universität Wien.
Martin Baumann has been professor of Religious Studies at the Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences since 2001 and prorector for research at the University of Luzern since 2010. He teaches and investigates the fields of migration, religion and social integration; controversies and coexistence in religious pluralism; Diaspora Studies; Hindu and Buddhist traditions in the West. His most recent publication in co-authorship is "Integrationspotenziale von Religion und Zivilgesellschaft", Baden-Baden 2016.
Dr. theol. Michael Bünker was born in 1954. He has been the General Secretary of the “Community of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE)” since 2007 and the Bishop of the Protestant Church A.C. in Austria since 2008.
Prof. Dr. Martin Jäggle lehrte Religionspädagogik und Katechetik an der Katholisch-Theologischen Fakultät der Universität Wien.
Karsten Lehmann is presently working as Head of Social Sciences and Statistics at the Research Department of the KAICIID International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue in Vienna. His present work focuses primarily on the role of religions in international relations, empirical dialogue research, the analysis of secularization processes, and research methods. Recent publications: Religious NGOs in International Relations, – The onstruction of ‘the Religious’ and ‘the Secular’ (London 2016); Lehmann, Karsten / Jödicke, Ansgar, (Hg.), Einheit und Differenz in der Religionswissenschaft (Würzburg 2016); Shifting Boundaries between the Religious and the Secular, – Religious Organization in Global Public Space, in: Journal of Religion in Europe 6 (2013), 201–228.
Prof. Dr. Regina Polak ist katholische Pastoraltheologin und hat Philosophie und Theologie in Wien sowie Spirituelle Theologie im interreligiösen Prozess in Salzburg studiert. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Religions- und Werteforschung, Migration und Spiritualität. Sie ist zur Zeit als Assoziierte Professorin am Institut für Praktische Theologie an der Katholisch-Theologischen Fakultät der Universität Wien tätig.
Prof. Dr. Wolfram Reiss lehrt am Institut für Systematische Theologie und Religionswissenschaft der Universität Wien.
