This book presents clear-cut procedures for using response to intervention (RTI) to determine a K-12 student's eligibility for special education under the designation of specific learning disabilities (SLD).
*Fills a significant gap in the RTI literature; though RTI is being implemented widely, there are few resources on its role in determining special education eligibility.
*Comprehensively describes assessment procedures, including case examples, and addresses frequently asked questions.
*Authors are influential experts; Kovaleski is considered one of the founders of RTI.
*The use of RTI in LD evaluations is required in a growing number of states.
*Online supplement: purchasers will be able to download and print the reproducible materials.
