JENNY OLLERENSHAW was formerly Lecturer in French and a materials developer and writer at the Centre for Modern Languages at the Open University. She has been a professional languages material writer for the last 10 years specialising the writing of self-access materials for adults. STEPHANIE RYBAK has worked in several universities including the University of Cambridge and the Open University, taking a particular interest in adult foreign language learning. BRIAN HILL is Head of the School of Languages at the University of Brighton.
