DK Action Packs are a challenging approach to non-fiction for 8-12 year-olds. In each pack children will find 3D models to build, stickers to stick, flipbooks, maps, cards, posters, games, facsimiles and dioramas to assemble. These should enable them explore a popular subject in as many ways as their imagination takes them. All the materials in each pack are thematically linked; the guidebook includes more information on the subject as well as suggesting different ways of using the materials in the pack. The contents of "Human Body" include a 16-page guidebook, discover-your-body poster, press-out 3D hanging skeleton model, tab book cards, facsimiles and a cardboard body puzzle.
