«‘Introduzione al Commercio Italiano’ [...] is very close to being indispensable as an aid to the teaching of business Italian to the intermediate to advanced student preparing for contact with the world of Italian commerce. Matilde M. Fava’s approach to a dry and specialized subject utilizes the device of dialogs between young professionals [...] Fava proves her point by providing a valuable resource: examples of correspondence and documents which utilize the terms as they are learned [...] her text is clear, readable, up to date and interesting.» (Barbara Mangione, Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, University of Notre Dame)
