Basketball great Charles Barkley admits he gambles “liberally” on Super Bowls (and lots of other things too!).“Hey Chuck!” Maybe it would be much more exciting if you would take a bundle of that cash and gamble on people! You know, invest in some random people! See what happens! You may win, - you may lose. Just like Vegas!”
For reference, check out the TV Series, “The Millionaire” (1955-1960).
Also, why not gamble on greeting people with a “Good Morning”, or whatever, - when passing them by on the street, or while at work! It’s definitely a risk of sorts, but hey, nothing of any real value is gained without risk.

A lot of weak people have great power! A two-year old shot his mother to death with a gun. “Two year olds” pretty much describe most all mass-murders that I’ve ever heard of. Guns often provide power to the pathetic, the insecure, and the weak. Without guns, they are pretty much useless and gutless. Those who project strength on the outside are very often hollowed out on the inside.

“Don’t equate gentleness with cowardice, lack of conviction, or mere human niceness. It’s a virtue that draws courage, strength, conviction, and good disposition from God, not from self-centered human resources. We want to see payback movies in which the first half consists of bad things happening to the hero, and the last half consists of bad things that come to the people who did those things to the hero. That is what entertains us. That is what our culture celebrates.”
“Meekness is strong, not weak; active, not passive; courageous, not timid; restrained, not excessive; modest, not self-aggrandizing; and gracious, not brash.”
David Bednar
Here’s an IDEA!
Why not see if we could put ourselves through Scrooge’s Christmas Eve Experience? You know, take a scenic, but truly honest and possibly “life-altering” trip through our Past, our Present, & our Future. Wow!! Now that would be a trip!!
POINT OF EMPHASIS: Evil never quits! And so it is, that the pursuit of truth and peace can never, ever rest!! Take the example of the Pump Organ. If you take a break from pumping, the music stops, and “The Light” goes out! Darkness is ever-present and takes little or no effort to energize, - whereas love, though it is also ever-present, takes considerable effort, energy and constant attention in order to energize and materialize. In short, “Love takes lots of guts, sacrifice and hard work. Evil is the work of the fearful, the insecure, and the lazy!”

Commentary on Luke 16:1-15 / “Wolves are intentional about the harm they inflict upon sheep. In such an environment, the question becomes: “How can we advance the kingdom of God effectively without becoming predatory ourselves?” Jesus taught His followers that, to be Christ-like in a Godless world, they must combine the wisdom of the serpent with the harmlessness of the dove. Successful Christian living requires that we strike the optimal balance between the dove and the serpent. We should strive to be gentle without being pushovers, and we must be sacrificial without being taken advantage of. We are aware of the unscrupulous tactics used by the enemy, but we take the high road.”
“The Mainstream Media have finally met
an entity as narcissistic as they are, - and that’s “P #45”.
Jon Stewart
“Who is more foolish?
The child afraid of the dark, or the man afraid of the light?”
Maurice Freehill
Real quality entertainment will spur you to get off your ass and unlock your imagination; to rustle up some guts, and begin to create your own courageous, honest and personal reality “play” for yourself and the world! You can admire the creativity of others for a while, but in the end, you’ve got wake up and give some “Light” to your own wondrously crazy sense of being that’s rattling around there within your soul! What a waste it would be if you don’t do that!
Those Bud Light guys, who recently got their shorts all in a bunch, about Dylan Mulvaney, and all those who cheered the recent USWNT soccer loss are, to me, weak insecure little petunias! (Or, “Sick, thin-skinned little morons!”) They can’t even handle the presence of a gay person or a trans person. How weak and pathetic is that! It seems to me that, just as we have to find ways to live with their pathetic insecurities in our everyday lives, they should at least have the “cojones” to be able return the favor for others, who might favor different dimensions of identity and personality!
Why didn’t Budweiser just call out those weak little insecure boycotters as the frightened little weenies they are, - afraid of their own sexuality!? Are they brave guys? Tough guys? I think not!!! Call ‘em what they are, - “weenies!” Weakness on parade!
