A page-turning biography of Sangharakshita, the controversial British Buddhist teacher. In the late 1960s Sangharakshita founded the Triratna Buddhist Order and Community - now a worldwide Buddhist movement. Nagabodhi gives a vivid account of Sangharakshita's life, what it was like to live among his followers, and the controversies he left behind.
Sangharakshita was a Buddhist monk, a writer, a poet, and the founder of the Triratna Buddhist Order and Community - a pioneering worldwide Buddhist movement. He was also an audacious reformer, and for some a deeply controversial figure. In an absorbing narrative, Nagabodhi takes us on a journey through the twists and turns of Sangharakshita's life; the experiences, insights, and reflections that nurtured his approach as a teacher; what it was like to live among his committed followers; and the controversies he left behind.

Nagabodhi joined Sangharakshita's new Buddhist Order in 1974 and has given his life to a range of Triratna projects in the UK and abroad. He worked closely with Sangharakshita, sometimes living in communities with him. In 1982 they travelled on tour in India, an adventure Nagabodhi chronicled in 'Jai Bhim! Dispatches from a Peaceful Revolution'.
