She has developed recipes for the New York Heart Association's Culinary Hearts Kitchen and was a consultant for the U.S. Olympics.   Genell Subak-Sharpe, formerly of The New York Times, is the author or co-author of many health books including Hormones: The Woman's Answer Book and Total Nutrition.
