Introduction to Modified Gravity
Springer International Publishing (Verlag)
978-3-031-46633-5 (ISBN)
This second edition has been expanded with new results from a variety of approaches including f(R,Q,P) gravity, galileon gravity and massive gravity. Extended discussions of Lorentz-breaking terms and of non-local field theory have been added and a completely new chapter is devoted to models based on non-Riemannian geometry.
Albert Petrov holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics (1997, Tomsk, Russia) and is currently a Professor at the Federal University of Paraiba (Joao Pessoa, Brazil). He chiefly works in the areas of quantum field theory and gravity and has more than 100 papers in international scientific journals to his credit. His main research interests are in supersymmetry, Lorentz symmetry breaking and modified gravity.
Jose Roberto Nascimento completed his Ph.D. in Physics (1995, São Paulo, Brazil), and is currently a professor at the Federal University of Paraiba (João Pessoa, Brazil). He works in the areas of quantum field theory and gravity and has more than 150 papers published in international scientific journals. His main spheres of scientific interest are Lorentz symmetry breaking and modified gravity.
Paulo Porfirio completed his Ph.D. in Physics (2017, João Pessoa, Brazil), and is currently a professor at the Federal University of Paraiba (João Pessoa, Brazil). He works in the areas of quantum field theory and gravity and has more than 25 papers published in international scientific journals. His main spheres of scientific interest are Lorentz symmetry breaking and modified gravity.
