Stefania Achella is Associate Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of Chieti-Pescara (Italy), where she teaches Ethics. She is currently working on the relationship between philosophy and biology in the nineteenth century, on the concept of vulnerability and on the contributions of feminism to the philosophical debate. Chantal Marazia is assistant professor in the History Theory and Ethics of Medicine at the University of Düsseldorf (Germany). Her research focuses are the history of psychiatry and neurology, and on the history of human rights. She is the editor of the psychopathological writings of Karl Jaspers.
