She has innovated several surgical techniques in her clinical practice and her complex surgical expertise attracts referrals from UK and abroad. She communicates well and has presented in several professional meetings.

She completed her fellowship in gynaecologic Oncology from Pan Birmingham Gynaecology Cancer Centre, Birmingham, UK under the Commonwealth exchange program. She is an editor of 5 books, has more than 75 indexed publications in national & international journals of repute and has contributed several chapters in books. She is also a reviewer of several international journals and has received several awards including the FIGO award for best paper from a developing country.  She is an active member of various organizations like ISCCP, AOGIN-India etc. and has delivered lectures in various national and international conferences..
