Dr. Xian-Cheng Jiang (PhD) is a Distinguished Professor of State University of New York (SUNY). He is working at the Department of Cell Biology, SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. His research focuses on lipid metabolism and metabolic diseases, such as atherosclerosis, metabolic syndrome, obesity and liver steatosis, particularly how phospholipid metabolism influences plasma lipoprotein metabolism, cell membrane lipid composition and function, and the development of metabolic diseases.
