Yusuf A. Hannun, MD, is Director, Stony Brook Cancer Center, Vice Dean, Cancer Medicine, and Professor, Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Stony Brook University. He is a renowned molecular biologist and physician-scientist investigating the molecular mechanisms of cancer, with an expertise in sphingolipids.
