Nick Bouras is the Director of the Estia Training, Research and Development Centre in London. He is Professor of Psychiatry in the Division of Psychological Medicine and Health Service Research Department at the Institute of Psychiatry and Chairman of the Mental Health Studies Programme. He is also Consultant Psychiatrist at SLAM NHS Trust and Director of the Estia Training, Research and Development Centre at Guy's. He has been a member of several national and international organisations including Chairman, World Psychiatric Association, Section of the Psychiatry of Mental Retardation. He has published extensively in community psychiatry and mental health aspects for people with intellectual disabilities and he has edited 5 books. Geraldine Holt is Honorary Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, Consultant Psychiatrist at South London and the Maudsley NHS Trust.
