It's the future; just like now, but a bit more... well, shitey. Jim and Agnes have worked hard their whole lives and now Agnes needs a life-saving operation. With the NHS as we know it a thing of the past, they must take matters into their own hands in this darkly comic tale showing the lengths people go to for life and love.

Gary McNair is a playwright, director and performer based in Glasgow. He makes work that challenges and entertains. Since graduating with first class honours in Contemporary Theatre Practice from the RSAMD (now RCS) in 2007, he has produced work with and for many of Scotland’s major theatre companies. His plays have been translated into several languages and performed around the world including London, New York, LA, Italy, Japan, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand. His plays include, Locker Room Talk, Letters To Morrissey, After The Cuts and A Gambler’s Guide to Dying. He has twice been the recipient of a Scotsman Fringe First Award. He is an Associate Artist at The Traverse Theatre and is currently writer in residence at the National Theatre of Scotland. Web: www.garymcnair.co.uk Tweet: @thegarymcnair
