Human Anatomy

This video is part of a series of programmes offering a teaching and study guide to the form and function of the body. Focusing on the spinal column and lower limb, it presents the anatomical structures and surface anatomical features of the body as well as basic dissecting techniques. The relationship between anatomy and clinical medicine is highlighted throughout by appropriate radiographic, ultrasound and nuclear magnetic resonance imaging. Lecturers and students can use them according to their specific needs: simultaneously with an atlas or text during dissection study; as a self-study and self-testing tool; for verification of observations made in the dissecting room; and as a permanent reference guide from medical school to professional work.
