This collection of practicals (more than 70 experiments) on seven major heads covering all areas of inorganic chemistry practicals has been designed for the benefit of all undergraduate and postgraduate students/programs of the IITS (Indian Institute of Technology) and various Universities across the country. The experiments have been tested, well designed and contain a brief theoretical background to understand and enjoy the chemistry behind the each experiment. All the experiments involve the chemicals and equipments which are usually existing in any chemistry graduate laboratory. Further, alternative green methods for certain experiments such as for some inorganic preparations and spot tests for cations/anions are also included. The experiments have been written in such a manner that a student can perform them with little help from the teacher and can produce the results in book format. The book will be very helpful for establishment of laboratory as the Appendix includes list of chemicals and apparatuses. At the end an Index has been provided to help students in searching the things they need.
This book will be of great help to the teacher to motivate the interested and talented students.
