"This makes it a very interesting book for both residentsin training and general practitioners. All of these featuresmake the acquisition of a copy of Feline Cardiology very worthwhilefor all Veterinarians who wish to know more about cardiology, andnot necessarily only feline cardiology." (EJCAP,1 March 2013)
"Feline Cardiology' is a must-have in-clinic text, dedicated to the complex discipline of cardiology in the felinespecies. It provides easy-to-locate key information for quickreference by the busy or less experienced veterinarian, whileincorporating in-depth and advanced material of interest to themore enthusiastic practitioner, referral clinician or thoseundertaking further study in small animal cardiology." (Veterinary Record, 8 December 2012)
"This book should be in your bookshelf if you are seriousabout the cat's heart!." (Vet NursesToday, 2012)A fantastic book. The pictures alone are worth the price of thebook. The echocardiograms are all clearly marked so even a novicecan quickly see what the issues are which stands out well. The four authors have done an amazing job getting thismaterial together from distant sites and yet have managed a hardtask in making the book into a unified and well organized text.Anyone interested in the cat should certainly want this not only onhis/her bookshelf but used daily in the clinic alongside theradiographs and the ultrasound machine. The addition of diseasescomplicating cardiac conditions or simply found in conjunction withheart problems is one that many vets face daily and this shouldprovide them with some great help. Of course the entire section onhypertension is one that fits into the feline profile as animportant adjunctive cardiac problem and needed to be as completeand as well written as this one is. (December 2011,Steve Ettinger, DVM, DACVIM, FACC, FAHA)
"The book is well organized and the most important subjects infeline clinical cardiology are addressed and supported by highquality illustrations and images. Various important featuresmake the book very user-friendly for a busy clinician. Forinstance, through the different sections the authors summarize"Key Points" that should be kept in mind, and the mostrelevant references are underlined at the end of each chapter. There is also a chapter giving general therapeutic guidelines and adrug formulary with the main indications and dosages of the mostfrequently used cardiovascular drugs. Finally, some importantreference numbers that one should know are strategically placed onthe back cover of the book." (European Journal of Companion AnimalPractice, 2013)
