It puts 'must have' information at the fingertips of every designer, planner and architect. The "Metric Handbook CD" is a time-saving tool for all architects, planners and designers. On this CD, you'll find the key illustrations from the new second edition of the "Metric Handbook" provided as symbols compatible with three of the most popular CAD systems. It includes additional key word search, select and insert facility alongside the standard menu options. Vital statistics for the spacing needed between different sets of furniture, as well as the normal spacing between, for example, a desk and a chair are also given. The drawings and software are designed to be used with: AutoCAD 2000, Architectural Desktop, r14, r13 and LT; Microstation Triforma J, Triforma, SEand 95; IntelliCAD 98; and new for this release of the software, Vectorworks v8 and v7. Also new with version 1.1 of the "Metric Handbook CD" are design details that can be used on a Mac operating system.
It includes over 1700 symbols dealing with all the principal building types, and with additional search, select and insert facilities; the CD includes space requirements between furniture as well as standard sizing specifications. It is now available for VectorWorks for Mac and Windows, and fully compatible with AutoDesk's family of AutoCAD 2000 products including AutoCAD LT 2000, and updated for Microstation Triforma J with enhanced peformance in all supported versions of AutoCAD LT.
