An ancient people have been made into slaves, forced into a life of endless servitude and labour. The King has ordered that all their male children be slaughtered to make sure it stays that way. But, one boy, Moses, survives, hidden in a basket on a riverbank. He will rise up to demand that the King lets his people go.
