Plot
After flattering this capable attacker, Bertha saw that he had no intention of continuing to tell him what to do, so he went down to the basement again, and after a while he brought up a machine that was half a person tall.

The attacker who got this answer wanted to say something, but in the end he didn't say anything. He stuffed the cards he took out back into Bertha's card pile without much interest.
"I'm leaving Black Harbor in half a month." The attacker finally said to Bertha.
Bertha could tell that this was not the other party explaining his itinerary, but the other party's request to her.
There is no doubt that this was the other party's ultimate purpose of lurking into Bertha's house and capturing Bertha.
