Jeeves é professor emérito de Psicologia na Universidade de St Andrews, Escócia, ex-presidente da Royal Society of Edinburgh, Academia Nacional da Escócia, e membro da Academia de Ciências Médicas e da Sociedade Britânica de Psicologia. Pioneiro em psicologia cognitiva, neuropsicologia e psicologia evolutiva, ele é autor de numerosos livros sobre ciência e fé.
