The practice of management has experienced significant changes in recent years. Advances in technology, globalization, cultural shifts, competitive pressures, and the unpredictability of a fast-paced business environment have presented new challenges as well as opportunities for today's managers.
Evolution of Management Practice has assembled the viewpoints of leading academics, management practitioners, and business consultants in order to uncover the most effective approaches pertaining to planning, leading, organizing and controlling. The chapters delve into the challenges of digital transformations, the use of AI, sustainability issues, supply chain changes and the need for design thinking and new human resource practices.
This book is an authoritative reference for professionals, consultants, policymakers and students and scholars of management, leadership, entrepreneurship and economics who realize that traditional management approaches need to be refined and reinvented to suit contemporary times. It will guide the practice of management for many years to come.

In Evolution of Management Practice, a group of the smartest management thinkers and practitioners offer a 21st century framework for management."
Johnny C. Taylor, Jr. President & CEO, SHRM, Society for Human Resource Management
"There doesn't seem to be a single industry that AI will not impact in a significant way in the future and it already has in many. Leaders and management will be required to understand the full depth and breadth of the changes on the horizon and be prepared to transform their current strategies. Evolution of Management Practice picks up on these changes and begins to put in place a new framework of management."
Mike Srdanovic, SVP Chief AI Architect, Northern Trust
