Kurt Avery is the founder, owner, and president of Sawyer Products. Founded in 1984, Sawyer has been at the forefront of innovation in water filtration, insect repellent, sunscreen, and first aid. Kurt, a graduate of Hope College and Northwestern Kellogg School of Management, is passionate about and committed to creating disease-free water for life in communities around the world. He and his wife, Barbara, have four children and five grandchildren. They reside in Clearwater, Florida.
