Dr. Seema Sanghi is Managing Director of Styrax Consultants, an establishment of her own in the domain of human resource solutions. Styrax Consultants is dedicated to the refinement of both processes and individuals, providing specialized consultancy services in competency mapping, assessment centres, psychometric testing and development, assessment tool development, training and development, mentoring and coaching, as well as HR processes and interventions. Prior to this, she served as Director of FORE School of Management. Her noteworthy achievements include being honoured with the Mother Teresa Award in 2003 and the Excellence in Education Award in 2004. A distinguished academic, she holds three gold medals and national scholarships for her outstanding academic prowess. Among her authored works are Towards Personal Excellence (also available in Chinese), Organizational Behaviour, Essentials of Organizational Behaviour (co-authored with Stephen Robbins and Timothy Judge), and Institutional Governance. The co-authored book Organizational Behaviour received commendation from His Excellency Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India. Furthermore, her book Human Resource Management was awarded the ISTD Book Award by the Indian Society of Training and Development (ISTD), Ministry of HRD. Dr. Sanghi’s scholarly contributions extend to over 100 psychometric tests, research papers, and articles published in both national and international journals and magazines. Notably, she has served as an international consultant to UNDP, contributing to the development of competency frameworks and assessment centre designs for Public Service Commission, Nepal. Her involvement in shaping selection tests for central government and various state governments in India is a testament to her impact in the field. Having trained and assessed thousands of professionals on competency mapping and assessment centres, Dr. Sanghi has been a driving force in executive education and consultancy across diverse sectors in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Saudi Arabia. Her professional passions lie in competency mapping, assessment centre methodologies, tool development, psychometric testing, mentoring, coaching, cross-cultural issues, ethics, and the motivational complexities intertwined with environmental concerns. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Sanghi finds solace and expression in hobbies such as painting and interior designing, gardening, and cooking.
