Raj K. Kovid is Professor and Head of Department (General Management) in School of Business Studies at Sharda University, Greater Noida. He brings with him a rich working experience of over 25 years in teaching, research and industry. He has earned his PhD degree in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions and Masters in Business Management and Commerce. His teaching and research area includes Corporate Strategy, M&A, Global Strategy, Strategy for Platform Business, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Corporate Governance & CSR. He has consulted firms with respect to their growth strategies. He has keen interest in the Case Method of teaching and research. He has published research papers and book chapters in journals of repute at national and international level. His cases are available in Harvard Business Publishing and has also conducted case method workshops. Dr. Kovid is regularly invited as an expert in various conferences and workshops. Vikas Kumar received MSc in Electronics from Kurukshetra University, Haryana, India. This was followed by M Sc in Computer Science and further PhD from the same university. His PhD work was in collaboration with CEERI, Pilani and he has worked in a number of ISRO sponsored projects. He is a life member of Indian Science Congress Association, Computer Society of India, IETE, ICEIE, IPA, VEDA, IVS, and Magnetic Society of India. Dr. Kumar has designed and conducted number of training programs for the corporate sector and is a trainer for a number of Govt of India departments. Along with eight books, he has more than 100 research papers to his credit in various national and international conferences and journals. He was the Editor of International Quarterly Refereed Journal “Asia-Pacific Business Review” during June 2007-June 2009. He is a regular reviewer for a number of International Journals and on panel of examiners on a number of Govt. Universities for UG / PG and doctoral programmes. Dr. Kumar is serving as a Professor at the Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani, India and is a visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore and University of Northern Iowa, USA. The specific areas of his interest include Business Intelligence, Research Methodology, Social Media Analytics, Decision Support Systems.
