David Maxwell-Scott has been in the drinks business for sixty years, from wine trade trainee to managing director of a major Scotch whisky company, and currently chairman of the UK's leading brewpub company. His travels have inspired him to write about the curious places and the colourful characters that he has had the good fortune to encounter. David lives in London with his wife, Isabel. He has two sons and two grandsons.
