Monty C. M. Metzger is CEO and Founder at LCX, a regulated blockchain company headquartered in Liechtenstein and operating LCX.com cryptocurrency exchange. Monty found his first internet company in 1998 at the age of 18 when he was still at school. He graduated in Switzerland and Germany in Business Administration and electronic Marketing with additional executive programs at Harvard Business School HBS in Boston, USA. Monty has over 20 years of experience as a manager, technology entrepreneur, and investor. He has been a pioneer in the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, and has worked with institutions, governments, and startups on topics such as tokenization, initial coin offerings, and security token offerings. Monty is advising several blockchain startups as an advisor, helping them succeed in the long term. In addition to his work at LCX, Monty is also a Founding Partner Emeritus at the Venture Capital Fund called Digital Leaders Ventures. In his role as a venture capitalist, Monty has been a general partner of the VC firm investing in technology companies globally. One of his portfolio companies Revue where he invested in seed stage has been recently acquired by Twitter. Other portfolio companies include Fintech company PayKey and cloud telco platform Aircall which raised more than $220 million and a valuation of several billion dollars. Monty Metzger is a professional keynote speaker with over two decades of experience, and has been invited to speak at numerous high-level conferences around the world, including the World Economic Forum.
