This book examines the behavior of high-tech startups and important aspects of innovation ecosystems in Brazil. It discusses how the local business environment boosts startups and high-tech entrepreneurship, leading to the most successful implementation of technology parks and incubation movements in Latin America. Fernanda Ribeiro Cahen is Visiting Researcher at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, USA - and Assistant Professor of Management at Centro Universitario FEI, Brazil. Felipe Mendes Borini is Associate Professor at University of São Paulo, Brazil and at Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM), Brazil.
