With over 600 questions, answers, and explanations, readers can test themselves on any of these categories - planning history, economics, planning law, environmental planning, budgeting, financial analysis, physical planning, and planning theory. Certification exams are difficult, the subject areas covered are broad, and competition is tough. The program is easy to use - questions are selected at random or sequential order and presented in a question and answer format, with immediate feedback and technical explanations provided for all missed questions. Scores are calculated and displayed for each category. You can choose questions by category, or you can combine the categories. To help prepare for the certification exams, the program allows you to simulate taking the exams by testing your knowledge on the entire 600+ question database. The scores for each category will be calculated and displayed, letting you know where improvement is needed. Each program contains four 5-1/4" disks, two 3-1/2" disks, and an instruction manual.
It requires a PC, XT, AT, PS2, or equivalent 100% IBM-compatible computer with a hard disk drive or two 720k drives. It supports both colour and monochrome monitors.
