Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), and Advanced Planning Systems (APS) are important concepts in order to organize and optimize the flow of materials, information and financial funds. This book, already in its fifth edition, gives a broad and up-to-date overview of the concepts underlying APS. Prof. Dr. Hartmut Stadtler ist Leiter des Instituts für Logistik und Transport der Universität Hamburg.

Dr. Christoph Kilger studierte Informatik an der Universität Karlsruhe, und promovierte im Bereich Datenbanksysteme für Maschinenbau-Anwendungen. Im Jahr 2000 wechselte er in die Geschäftsführung und später in den Vorstand der J&M Management Consulting AG in Mannheim.

Prof. Dr. Herbert Meyr lehrt an der T U Darmstadt. Sein Fachgebiet ist Produktion & Supply Chain Management.
