The Foal in the Womb

Dr A.W. Marrable, the author and illustrator of this book, has taught mammalian biology at the Royal Veterinary College, the University of Bristol and the University of Pennsylvania. After extensive embryological studies and office as Veterinary Preclinical Dean at the University of Bristol, he directed research for the Horserace Betting Levy Board. In 1975 he was a member of the team that inaugurated the Murdoch University Veterinary School in Western Australia.
