Simon Dawson lives off-grid on a self-sufficient smallholding on Exmoor with his wife, 2 Great Danes and 187 assorted farm animals. He is the author of 3 books, The Self Sufficiency Bible, Pigs in Clover and The Sty's the Limit, and has contributed literally hundreds of articles to newspapers and magazines. When not out on the farm or writing, he teaches how to be self sufficient in today's busy world, with courses and workshops on butchery, curing, bread and butter making and animal husbandry. He is also an after dinner speaker and radio presenter.
