As in previous editions, this text is intended for students interested in the principles of animal nutrition and the application of these principles. It contains an introduction to the role of animal nutrition in modern agriculture and society, and uses the most current knowledge of nutrient metabolism and the formulation of diets from an array of available feedstuffs.
