Former players, White Sox personnel, and fans contributed memories, including substantial pieces by Roland Hemond and Nancy Faust.

Floyd Sullivan a member of the Society for American Baseball Research, is a writer and photographer and lives in Chicago. David Cicotello is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research and a contributor to its Deadball Stars volumes. A student affairs administrator at Middle Tennessee State University, he lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Angelo J. Louisa is a researcher, writer, and community educator who lives in Omaha, Nebraska. A member of the Society for American Baseball Research, he has contributed articles to books, periodicals, and websites.
