Veterinary Mycology Laboratory Manual

This manual presents basic information about isolating and identifying fungi in the veterinary mycology laboratory. The authors developed this handbook in the classroom and the laboratory, and believe their efforts reflect the real problems and situations that veterinary students encounter. Intended for use in conjunction with a comprehensive texbook, the manual offers guidelines for the collection of specimens for fungal identification, outlining different procedures for cutaneous, subcutaneous, systeroic, aquatic and other common and opportunistic mycoses. It discusses the submission of specimens, general diagnostic procedures and characteristics of fungal agents of veterinary significance.
