Studio SKLIM is an award-winning design firm that is skilled in crafting bespoke spatial solutions. The studio is based in Singapore and has a presence in India, and believes that the fast-changing contemporary life demands a rethink and reorganisation of existing spatial parameters in design. Each project comes with its own unique set of pragmatics and constraints, and the most basic design solutions are intrinsic. Studio SKLIM embarks on design journeys with its clients and consultants as a collective experience to explore market demands, environment sustainability, design technology, and socio-cultural landscapes with the hope of creating built environments that resonate with the firm’s design values. The firm uses a comprehensive and sensitive understanding of materials, sometimes pushing them beyond their accepted boundaries. The designers employ local crafts and resources to bring a novel context to their work, believing in this mutual learning process to produce for the future.

Studio SKLIM is currently working on projects in the Asia Pacific region which includes high-end residential/office/F&B interiors in Singapore and architectural projects in Kolkata, India which includes a home office building, a large residential home, and an international school.

The founding principal of Studio SKLIM, Kevin Lim, leads an award-winning interior and architectural design firm headquartered in Singapore, with notable projects spanning Singapore, Japan, China, and India. With the early influence of William Lim, one of Singapore’s pioneering architects, Kevin’s career trajectory has seen him gain experience across London, Singapore, and Beijing, collaborating with renowned international practices like the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) founded by Rem Koolhaas. Kevin Lim graduated with the AA Diploma from the Architectural Association in London and a Bachelor degree in Architecture from the National University of Singapore. Kevin is an accredited professional of the India Green Building Council (IGBC).
