This volume deals with the chemical kinetics of high-temperature shocked flows. It is designed for chemists and chemical engineers working in reaction kinetics and combustion fields, plasma physicists, astrophysicists and also aerodynamicists simulating or computing relaxing reactive flows.
Recently, there have been significant advances in the fields of high-enthalpy hypersonic flows, high-temperature gas physics, and chemistry shock propagation in various media, industrial and medical applications of shock waves, and shock-tube technology. This series contains all the papers and lectures of the 19th International Symposium on Shock Waves. They are published in four volumes, each containing papers on related topics and each preceded by an overview. This volume deals with the chemical kinetics of high-temperature shocked flows.
