Shrikaant Kulkarni, Ph.D., is currently a Research and Technical Advisor at Filantrofia Sarvada CleanTech Pvt. Ltd., Pune, India, and Adjunct Professor at Padm. Dr. V. B. Kolte College of Engineering, Malkapur, India. Dr. Kulkarni has been a senior academician and researcher for more than four decades. He has delivered invited lectures and conducted sessions at national and international conferences as well as faculty development programs. He has guided many major and minor projects in the subject areas like engineering chemistry, green chemistry, nanotechnology, analytical chemistry, catalysis, chemical engineering materials, industrial organization, and management. He has published over 75+ research papers in national and international journals and conferences of repute. He has authored 50 book chapters in books published by CRC, Springer Nature, Apple Academic Press, Elsevier, Wiley, and IET. He has edited twelve books published by Apple Academic Press/CRC Press and Springer Nature. Another ten books are in the offing. He authored four textbooks in engineering chemistry. Dr Kulkarni possesses MSc, MPhil, and PhD degrees in Chemistry in addition to master’s degrees in Economics, Business Management, and Political Science. He has expertise in the fields of green chemistry and engineering, analytical chemistry, and green nanoscience and nanotechnology, wastewater treatment, Green and Analytical Chemistry, and advanced areas in Chemical Engineering and Material Science. A. K. Haghi, has written, co-written, edited or co-edited more than 1000 publications, including books, book chapters, and papers in refereed journals with over 3700 citation. He is currently a senior material engineering consultant in the UK. He has received several grants, consulted for several major corporations, and is a frequent speaker to national and international audiences. He has served as a member of the Canadian Research and Development Center of Sciences & Cultures and the Research Chemistry Centre, Coimbra, Portugal and supervised several PhD and MSc theses at the University of Guilan (UG) and co-supervised international doctoral projects. He holds a BSc in urban and environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina and holds two MSc, one in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University and another one in applied mechanics, acoustics, and materials from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne. Ana Cristina Faria Ribeiro, PhD, is a senior researcher in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Her area of scientific activity is physical chemistry and electrochemistry for environmental protection. Her main areas of research interest are transport properties of ionic and non-ionic components in aqueous solutions. Dr. Ribeiro has supervised master degree theses as well as some PhD theses and has been a theses jury member. She has been a referee for various journals as well an expert evaluator of some of the research programs funded by the Romanian government through the National Council for Scientific Research. She has been a member of the organizing committee of scientific conferences, and she is an editorial member of several journals. She is a member of the Research Chemistry Centre, Coimbra, Portugal.
