THz Communications in a Data Center: Channel Measurements, Modeling and Physical Layer Analysis
Seiten
In recent years, terahertz communication has increasingly attracted the attention of the industry, particularly in the context of forthcoming generations of mobile radio systems and novel industrial applications. Simultaneously, it has emerged as a focal point of interest within the scientific community, as well as among standardization and regulatory bodies.
The advances in semiconductor technology and radio frequency circuit design enable the exploitation of the low terahertz band and early system realizations have been realized.
This dissertation contributes to channel measurement and channel modeling in the context of terahertz links in a data center and analyzes the physical layer with regard to intersymbol interference through multipath propagation, impairments of radio frequency devices and interference from various sources.
