This book features selected papers from the 10th International Conference on Mathematics and Computing (ICMC 2024), held at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE), Krishnankoil, India during 2 – 7 January 2024. It covers recent advances in the field of mathematics, statistics, and scientific computing. The book presents innovative work by leading academics, researchers, and experts from industry in mathematics, statistics, cryptography, network security, cyber security, machine learning, data analytics and blockchain technology in computer science and information technology. The book is divided into two volumes.

Debasis Giri is at present Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology), West Bengal, India prior to Professor (in Computer Science and Engineering) and Dean (in School of Electronics, Computer Science and Informatics) of Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, India. He did his masters (M.Tech and M.Sc) both from IIT Kharagpur, India, and also completed his Ph.D from IIT Kharagpur, India . He is ten-th all India rank holder in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering in 1999. He has published more than 100 papers in international journal/ conference. His current research interests include Cryptography, Information Security, Blockchain Technology, Ecommerce security and Design & Analysis of Algorithms. He is Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of many International Journals. He is also Program Committee Member of International Conferences. He is a life memberof Cryptology Research Society of India, Computer Society of India, the International Society for Analysis, its Applications and Computation (ISAAC) and IEEE annual member. Jaideep Vaidya is a Distinguished Professor of Computer Information Systems at Rutgers University and the Director of the Rutgers Institute for Data Science, Learning, and Applications. He received the B.E. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, the M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Purdue University. His general area of research is in security, privacy, data mining, and data management. He has published over 200 technical papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, and has received several best paper awards from the premier conferences in data mining, databases, digital government, security, and informatics. He is an IEEE and AAAS Fellow as well as an ACM Distinguished Scientist. He served as the Editor in Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Dependable andSecure Computing. S. Ponnusamy is currently the Chair Professor at IIT Madras, and the President of the Ramanujan Mathematical Society, India. His research interest includes complex analysis, special functions, and functions spaces. He served five years as a Head of the Indian Statistical Institute, Chennai Centre. He is the Chief Editor of the Journal of Analysis and serves as a Editorial member for many peer reviewed international journals. He has written five text books and has edited several volumes, and international conference proceedings. He has solved several long standing open problems and conjectures, and published more than 300 research articles in reputed international journals. He has been a Visiting Professor to a number of universities in abroad (e.g. Hengyang Normal University, Hunan First Normal University and Hunan Normal University; Kazan Federal University and Petrozavodsk State University; University Sains Malaysia; University of Aalto, University of Turku,and University of Helsinki; University of South Australia; Texas Tech University). Currently, he is also a Leader of the group on the geometric theory of functions at the Laboratory ``Multidimensional Approximation and Applications" of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow Center for Fundamental and Applied Mathematics, Moscow, Russia. He is also a Chair Professor ``Furong Scholars Award Program'', of Hunan First Normal University, China. Zhiqiang Lin is a Distinguished Professor of Engineering, and the director of Institute for Cybersecurity and Digital Trust (ICDT) at The Ohio State University. His research interests center around systems and software security, with a key focus on (1) developing automated binary analysis techniques for vulnerability discovery and malware analysis, (2) hardening the systems and software from binary code rewriting, virtualization, and trusted execution environment, and (3) the applications of these techniques in Mobile, IoT, Bluetooth,and Connected and Autonomous Vehicles. He has published over 140 papers, many of which appeared in the top venues in cybersecurity. He is an ACM Distinguished Member, a recipient of Harrison Faculty Award for Excellence in Engineering Education, NSF CAREER award, AFOSR Young Investigator award, and Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University. Karuna Pande Joshi is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). She is the UMBC Director for the Center of Accelerated Real Time Analytics (CARTA) and the Director of the Knowledge, Analytics, Cognitive, and Cloud (KnACC) Lab. She is also the Undergraduate Program Director of the Business Technology Administration Program. Her primary research focus is Data Science, Legal Text Analytics, Cloud Computing, and Health IT. She has published over 90 technical papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Joshihas been awarded research grants by NSF, ONR, DoD, NIH, Cisco, and GE Research. She received her MS and Ph.D. in Computer Science from UMBC, where she was twice awarded the IBM Ph.D. Fellowship. She did her Bachelor of Engineering (Computers) from the University of Mumbai. Dr. Joshi has also worked for over 15 years in the Industry, including as a Senior Information Management Officer at the International Monetary Fund for nearly a decade. V. Yegnanarayanan is a Senior Professor of Mathematics at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Tamilnadu, India. His Erdos Number is 3. He has authored 215 Research papers in reputed refereed journals and Conferences and published 8 Patents in India. So far he has produced 6 Ph.D's. He was elected as a Senior Member of IEEE for his meritorious contributions to the cause of technical education and research in 2012. He has won the prestigious Sentinel of Science Award by Publons, UK in the year 2016 for his contributions to Review work of research papers submitted to journals in Mathematics. He is a life member and affiliate members of various professional societies like AMS, SIAM, RMS, IMS, ISTE. He has successfully completed funded research projects and organized SDP's funded by AICTE, Conferences sponsored by Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology and delivered a number of invited talks in India and Abroad.
